Flybridge
The bridge has been efficiently designed with an angled helm station and 360° visibility to facilitate backing down on fish or close-handling at the dock. The sprawling bridge accommodates a full complement of family and friends, in adjustable helmsman’s and companion’s chairs and roomy lounge seating forward of the console. A custom-designed hardtop with three-sided enclosure is standard. An EZ2CY® enclosure is a popular option.


Cockpit
Serious sportfishermen will appreciate the transom-mounted circulating live baitwell, tackle locker, and the bait prep center’s freezer and fresh-water sink. A hinged gate in the transom door, fresh and seawater washdowns, rod holders, and large insulated fishboxes are standard. A refrigerated fishbox is an option. Optional Rupp outriggers, center rigger and a fighting chair are tournament assets aboard the 42 Super Sport. Engine-room and Lazarette access is located here.


Salon
The salon is accented by teak bulkheads and handcrafted cabinetry. Cherry is an option; a high-gloss finish, an additional option. Ocean’s genius for space utilization is evident in storage compartments concealed within the large L-lounge, the optional sofabed, and the glossy teak table.
An entertainment center includes a 20" LCD television with remote, as well as a Bose stereo with CD/DVD player. The icemaker contributes to the entertainment possibilities enjoyed by owners of this superlative yacht.


Master Stateroom
The 42 SS possesses a true master stateroom with private head entrance; a walkaround full-sized berth with 5" mattress, bedspread, shams, and two pillows; a cedar-lined hanging locker; overhead cabinets; and bunk storage. Two-drawer inserts are an available option. A 15" LCD television and DVD player are standard.


Guest Stateroom
The starboard-side guest stateroom has two single berths, 5" foam mattresses and covers, two sham and pillow sets, and a cedar-lined hanging locker. Berths convert easily into a full-size bed. A raised third berth is available as an option in place of the hanging locker. The outboard berth has been designed to accommodate optional rod storage.
