~Pontoon Frame

Bennington's heavy-duty, rigid deck frame was designed to accommodate today's heavier, higher horsepower engines.

Pontoon Bow Eye - Durable aluminum extruded bow eyes (not brittle castings) are beveled at the edges The smooth radius edges prevent chaffing and snagging of dock lines.

~Bennington Rails

Unlike many of our competitors, Bennington’s rails are welded before anodizing (not after). Welding before anodizing results in a stronger, smooth­er weld that will not discolor from ox­i­da­tion. Bennington rails are also welded on four sides (not two) wherever possible. Bennington rails are 1 1/4" (not 1"); .080" thick (not .060"). The rails are anchored to the frame of the boat (not the wood deck) wherever possible. Our inside rail supports are solid (not hollow tubes) to ensure the sturdiest rails in the industry.

~Rattle-Free Rails

A special sealing tape on the perimeter of all Bennington rail panels ensures a quiet, rattle-free ride.

~Rail Spacers

1/4" rail spacers between the deck and the panel rail allow water to easily drain off the deck. The increased ventilation as a result of these spacers also help reduce the growth of mold and mildew.

~Stainless Steel Bolts

Stainless steel elevator bolts with Ny-Lock nuts are used to secure the deck to the cross channels. They are stronger and have more holding power than the self-tapping screws used by many of our competitors.

~Deck Brackets

Bennington’s extruded deck brackets are thicker and stronger than the thin sheet aluminum brackets that are used by some of our competitors. Our brackets have FOUR (not two) points of contact across the top of the tube, which helps to evenly distribute the frame weight and stress. (A) WIDER– By spacing our deck brackets about 10" wider than our competitors’ – we are able to greatly reduce the amount of twist the deck is subjected to… especially at high speeds. The wider stern brackets also provide more support closer to the engine. (B) END CAP SUPPORT– The stern deck brackets are welded over the end cap, which is the strongest part of the tube. Most of our competitors’ stern brackets are not welded over the tube end cap.

~Designer Upholstery

Bennington has set a new standard for pontoon boat seating comfort. Our unique high density, multi-compression foam provides the perfect combination of support and plush comfort. Our one-piece, roto-cast molded seat frames are stronger and more durable than the two-piece combination plastic/wood seats used by some of our competitors. We use only premium grade 31 oz. expanded vinyl in all models. Expanded vinyl has excellent memory retention, and resists punching, stretching and puddling. Our vinyl is soft and supple to the touch, mold and mildew resistant, and is backed by a FIVE-year warranty.

~Captain Seat

Bennington’s unique captain seat with convenient cup holders is standard on all deluxe model boats. The captain seat also features a special marine suspension fabric suspended between the high density seat foam and the roto-cast shell. The combination of high density foam and suspension fabric will provide season after season of unchanged comfort, and will eliminate the “bottoming out” problem that exists with many of our competitors’ captain seats.
