CONSTRUCTION
With her large openings and variable layout cockpit, the Antarès 9.80 takes cruising to a whole new dimension.


HULL
The hull is laminated in GRP with a balsa sandwich in certain zones for exceptional stiffness. The standard
colour is white, although Steel Blue is available as an option.
The Antarès 9.80 deep-V hull promises excellent seakeeping with waves being easily deflected. She also
benefits from the hydrodynamic advances incorporated in the Antarès 13.80, notably the semi-tunnel shape,
which optimises the thrust from the propellers and consequently their performance.


DECK
The deck is of sandwich construction to improve stiffness as well as provide sound and thermal insulation.
An inner deck moulding reinforces the structure and improves the finish.
The deck is covered with a diamond-point non-slip surface allowing safe movement around the boat.


RUDDER
The boat is equipped with two stainless steel underhung rudders.


ON DECK

MOORING AND ANCHORING
The deck is fitted with 6 aluminium cleats, allowing flexible mooring arrangements:
2 forward mooring cleats.
2 midships cleats for springs.
2 aft cleats, covered by pivoting teak bulwarks.
Stainless steel bow fitting designed for permanent anchor stowage.
Self-draining anchor well with hatch, large enough for stowage of ground tackle and mooring lines.
1000W vertical electric windlass, controllable from the foredeck, the flying bridge or the wheelhouse.


GUARDRAILS
A stainless steel rail surrounds the deck and allows safe passage along the wide side-decks. This is augmented by a handrail running the length of the flying bridge.
