The Austin Parker 42 Sedan has original classical lines and a sophisticated look reflecting the stylish input of its creator, the famous designer Fluvio De Simoni. The quick-works include a narrow "V" keel: with two 480 HP Cummins with straight shafts or two IPS 600 Volvo Penta engines, the yacht has a top speed of 32.5 knots and cruising speed of 28, with 12 people on board.

Its length of 12.50 metres is an excellent compromise between roomy comfort and ease of management. The external lines are well balanced and a perimeter walk-around makes it particularly easy to get from one part of the boat to another. The very large prow is a convenient sunbathing area.

The most important characteristics are the internal layout with two independent cabins sleeping 4 in normal beds and the dinette, located on deck, which is to all intents and purposes a small saloon, available for use in all weathers thanks to the safe, practical sliding glass door.

The Austin Parker 42 Sedan is a big little yacht, comfortable and spacious for cruising, able to accommodate 4 people overnight in absolute privacy. The large owner's cabin in the bows is light-filled and has plenty of wardrobes and wall cupboards, with the toilet next door; the bathroom is generously sized with WC, bidet and separate shower compartment.

The modern, rational interiors are fitted out only in fine wood, finished with open-pore water-based paints for the walls, and in wide, beveled brushed planks for the floor; the upholstery is in top quality linen and the sofas are in leather.

A great deal of work has been dedicated to details and to modifications to the vessel's systems to rationalise space and make inspection and servicing even easier; this has also reduced weights on board, generating a reduction in fuel consumption.

The stern is opened by a hydraulic system to give access to the bathing gangway, providing a continuous walkway just above the water, ideal for getting in and out of the sea easily. The hull can be customized with a choice of colour shades.
