The 44 Chinook is a passage maker. A dry, soft riding hull capable of handling conditions that would send many a seafarer heading for home. Windy's advanced hull design results in a top speed of approx 38knots with twin 370hp diesels and that means you can cruise effortlessly at circa 30 knots. Available also with the Volvo IPS system for extra low speed manoverability.

The standard hard top features a large electrically operated sun roof so full advantage can be taken when the sun shines. The helm position has all you need to make you feel in control, great forward and all round vision, all instruments easily visible and logically laid out and dedicated areas for the latest electronic equipment. With capacious seating alongside the helm, grab handles and great chart table your crew will really enjoy the cruising experience. Behind the helm position there is a large seating area, trademark cockpit table that converts to a sun bed and safe access to the spacious bathing platfrom ideal for carrying a dinghy. At night the cockpit can be easily closed in using the custom made rear canopy. Access to the engine room is wide and easy and once in the engine room even those who are not technical will be impressed with the forethought and high standard of engineering.

The entrance to the cabin is wide, easy and safe. On the port side there is a capacious galley and on the starboard side a comfortable saloon. The feature overhead light panels and large portholes add to the open and airy feel of cabin and everywhere the quality of Windy's timberwork and finish is evident. Uniquely, there are no less than three seperate sleeping cabins and two separate shower/heads compartments, so everyone can enjoy their own space and privacy.
