The newest Sportfisherman from Davis Yachts includes all new tooling, molds, and composite material to make it one of the lightest, fastest, strongest Davis ever built. Unmistakably Davis in design, the traditional flair wingspan sweeps over the sharp, strong entry of the bow. While on deck, the teak toerails accent the sloping sheer, as the well-defined tumblehome blends into the hull deck.

Also true to the Davis pedigree, great detail has been paid to their trademark - the ride. Tested in the roughest conditions, the new Davis 52' delivers one of the smoothest rides available today. Due to a low weight and beam, the Davis 52' is able to remain stable and handle the roughest of seas.

Because Davis is designed and outfitted by veteran anglers, every detail has been addressed in terms of fishability. Included among the standard features are a seawater-pumped circular, live baitwell, and under deck insulated fishbox, top-loading freezer with bait tray, fresh and raw water washdowns, tackle center, cable rewind and more. True to the Davis name, the 52’ Sportfisherman features accommodations normally reserved for larger vessels. A double island berth, a cedar lined hanging locker, vanity and built in TV and DVD highlight the air-conditioned master stateroom. The private master head has a separate shower stall. The salon features full-length sofa complete with storage. A modern, fully functional galley and entertainment buffet are starboard side of the salon. A CD sound system with TV that slides forward allowing ample storage, DVD, and air-conditioning system are also standard. Power options for the new Davis 52’ include Caterpillar C18 (1015hp), MTU 8V2000 (1217hp), and MAN V12-1360 (1360hp).

DAVIS split hull mold with solid fiberglass
bottom, Divinycel cored fiberglass hull sides,
a one-piece reinforced fiberglass super
structure with foredeck, cabin and bridge
and a one-piece fiberglass reinforced cockpit.
Lazarette and engine room are top coated with Awlgrip
white paint.
Lower guardrails and upper shear guards are solid fiberglass with
stainless steel rubrail protective molding.
All exterior cleats are reinforced with solid metal backup plates.
