~Austin Parker 64 Fly S

Anyone going on board an Austin Parker 64 Fly S will find their gaze running freely all the way to the bows, with no obstructions. This is thanks to the simplicity Fulvio De Simoni has made the keynote of the design of this 19 metre craft, with its impeccable, restrained elegance. The sofas in the cockpit and main saloon are placed against the walls, leaving plenty of room to move around. The same applies in the galley, definitely one of the most innovative parts of the boat, and at the control console, shifted to the right to leave room for the companion-way leading to the lower deck.

And it is here, in its less visible areas, that the Austin Parker 64 Fly S really excels: in the layout of the three cabins, accessed by means of a large landing, and the roominess of the cabins themselves, which give the impression of superyacht accommodation.

On the right at the foot of the companion-way is the twin cabin with en-suite shower room. Straight ahead is the VIP cabin, at a slight angle to make the best use of the space in the tip of the bows, which houses a walk-in wardrobe that would be a fine addition to any home. The VIP cabin also has en-suite shower room, with bidet.

The owner's cabin, also accessed from the landing, is directly underneath the saloon and makes full use of the boat's six-metre width. What's more, the bathroom is designed with washbasins in the cabin and only the toilet area separate, giving a truly amazing impression of spacious size.

There is a fourth cabin, for the crew, on the starboard side a little to the stern of the owner's cabin; finished to the same standards as all the others and with generous headroom, it can be used as a guest cabin if the owner sails the boat himself. It is accessed from behind the galley.

The interiors of the Austin Parker 64 Fly S are a triumph of natural oak and leather in neutral shades, used not only for the seats but also to add luxury and warmth to the walls.

Performance is very impressive, with two Man engines of 1200 HP delivering a top speed of 32 knots and a cruising speed of 28 knots.

The hull is in layered fibreglass, with the skin coat applied by hand, followed by an infusion process for the subsequent layers. The quick-works are in single skin laminate with high strength E-glass quadriaxial fabrics, while the top side is in sandwich laminate with balsawood core and skin in fibreglass of the same type.

All parts are finished with a coat of isophthalic/neopentyl gelcoat with high resistance to osmosis and UVA ageing.
