The Alerion Sport 30 is the first Alerion offered with the option of a carbon-fiber bowsprit for the asymmetric gennaker. Combined with a full-roach mainsail and swept-spreader Hall carbon-fiber mast, the Alerion Sport 30 is a true thoroughbred. Add in the lightweight, stiff construction, utilizing a carbon-fiber reinforced structural grid and vinyl ester-infused hull with foam core, and you are guaranteed elegant performance on all points of sail, through the widest range of conditions. Working with the naval architects at Langan Design Partners, no detail was overlooked – from the recessed headsail furling unit to the flush-mounted chainplates – when optimizing the design of this yacht.
