The Beneteau 31 is a sailboat built and designed by accomplished sailors; so you know performance is a big part of the experience. Beautiful in her slip, she was born for serious sailing. Designed by Finot-Conq & Associates, the cockpit and controls on the Beneteau 31 have been thoughtfully planned so you can easily sail her singlehandedly. All lines lead back to the cockpit, including sheets, furling and reefing lines. Her sails are specially cut by Neil Pryde. On deck, you'll find high grade Lewmar marine hardware and a disappearing companionway slide. This patented innovation is just one example of how Beneteau's original designs work for the cruising sailor. An ingenious track system allows the hatch boards and slide to simply be slid out of the way, providing easy access through the companionways. Feel the wind, look to the horizon, knowing all board her strong as the first day you became the captain of this remarkable yacht.

Below decks, the 31 features the fine joinery and exquisite woodwork that have become hallmark details in Beneteau's immaculate interiors. Large, panoramic ports allow natural light to fill the salon area. Something you won't often find on a cruising boat of this size is a full size chart table for easier navigation. And for those long distance cruises or when guests are on board, ample storage is available in the galley, salon and in the cabins. Even in the head, a separate shower area provides a touch of luxury seldom found on a sailboat of this size. Then at dinnertime, the well-equipped galley makes sure that the seafaring chef retains his clout a a star member of the crew. It's an imaginative approach that balances both freedom of movement with practical amenities. Imagine all the places to go. The creativity you can bring to your plans for relaxation. Beneteau will give you the performance, quality and space to get you there fast. Or for that matter, as slow and easy as you want to go.
