1987 Skeeter Strada

The 1987 Skeeter Strada F-80 is a bass boat and runabout. Suitable for a variety of applications, it lended itself well to the needs of serious fishermen. Doubling as a runabout, it could also tow skiers. As of 2011, the Strada series is no longer in production, but information about the boat is still available The Strada has an overall length of 15 1/2 feet long, by a width of 77 inches, or 6 1/2 feet. The empty weight of the boat without passengers or engine attached is 700 pounds. The boat is made out of fiberglass. Fiberglass is well known for durability, but proper maintenance is required on the boat. After the boat is puled out of the water all areas, especially the internal areas, should be dried off. This will prevent water accumulation, which leads to mold formation. Regular washing will prevent grime accumulation on the hull. If the boat is stored in the winter, make sure all areas are dry to prevent ice freezing and swelling up against the internal bulkheads.
