iboats Review of Xpress Boats: Manufacturer of Xpress Aluminum Boats, Jon Boats, Fishing Boats, Hunting Boats
Xpress Boats stepped into some uncharted territory in 1966 when it first began building a quality aluminum boat. Back in the mid 60's, a market had not been established for these types of jon boats. That is when Xpress began making a name for itself and kept improving their designs. In the late 1980's Xpress transformed the aluminum boat industry with its Hyper-Lift Hull creation. It w as a padded hull that completely raised the bar on performance for jon boats. Boaters now had the durability and strength of aluminum with the performance and style that was normally only seen on the fiberglass boats. After this, Xpress began expanding and now offer 4 series of aluminum boats: the Hyper-Lift, Super Value Series, Silver Series, and Xplorer Series.
Why would anyone drill holes on boat hulls and put rivets on an aluminum boat? Xpress avoids using screws and rivets in the hull of the boat. They use an all-weld method instead. Xpress Boats was the first to approach it that way. After building boats for 50 years and with thousands upon thousands of boats built, they have proven to show that they manufacture the aluminum boats the right way. Don't worry about the leaks that can be associated with jon boats or aluminum boats because Xpress fills your hull with environmentally-friendly expandable foam. This helps your aluminum boat with strength and durability as well as flotation. Their construction process is designed to give you the best performance possible with your jon boat.
It doesn't matter what performance you are seeking from your next aluminum vessel, Xpress has multiple styles of hulls to accommodate the performance you're seeking. The Hyper-Lift Hull serves as the keystone hull for Xpress providing unbelievable turning for a smooth and steady trip out on the water. The Jet Tunnel Hull has the custom designed tunnel on the hull of your aluminum boat, to allow the sportsmen to access shallow running streams and rivers with jet drive motors. The Bayou Hull has a shallow draft on this jon boat, designed to slide over submerged objects, vegetation, and mud. There are many other hull types available as well for your next aluminum boat that can accommodate any performance for which you are looking. Xpress Boats is proud to offer a wide selection to help you get exactly what you need in an All-Weld Aluminum Boat.

About Center Console Boats

Center Console lengths vary from 13 . 53 ft and obtained their namesake due to the console that contains the helm being located along the centerline of the boat. Center Consoles are better adapted for offshore fishing and usually use an outboard engine. Due to the open interior of the boat it allows anglers to walk stern to bow with little to no obstacles. Some features can include T-Top Cover which can provide some protection from the elements, rod holders, and live-wells.
