The design is true and tested. The big brother of the Albany, The Hudson Bay 21 Freighter can handle up to 2000 lbs, is rated up to a 20 h.p. motor. Equally at home in lakes and rivers it has become a favorite of many in Maine and throughout the Canadian provinces for decades. Gerry Shepherdson first offered this design in 1969. Many of those original freighters are still on the water.
