~The Riviera 33 won Modern Boating magazine's 2005 "Cruiser Of The Year" award and represented a turning point in the 25 year career of Australia's most awarded pleasure boat builder. Nevertheless, in the relentless pursuit of perfection, we decided to improve upon this winning formula. With a stunning new saloon layout that now accommodates up to 6, improved performance and handling characteristics, and a great new price, the 33 Series II was born. Not only will you find radical new design features but this latest Riviera is the product of an entirely new production method: Operational Task Sequencing, a system that promises even greater build quality and reliability.
Riviera Flybridge Convertibles have won numerous awards and enjoyed phenomenal international success. The new 33 Series II is destined for a great future and if you make it part of your future you can look forward to a unique boating experience.
The first exceptional feature is the apparent absence of exhaust outlets about the waterline. They are now located below the waterline; the result is a quieter system and no smelly exhaust gases. But the real revolution under the hull is that the aft section isn't as you would expect. Instead, two pockets house the propeller shafts. This design significantly improves fuel efficiency and top end speed.
The interior design is also a departure from tradition. The timberwork, in exquisitely crafted American Cherry, has a satin finish rather than high gloss; the floor covering is an ultra-modern high quality Amtico timber floor; the fabrics are light, the funishings and fittings are contemporary; space and light are capitalised on - infact, the ambience has a chic, contemporary apartment feel to it.
In addition to a very luxurious master stateroom (with lots of hanging and storage space) the saloon lounge converts into a double bunk-which means a party of four can enjoy extended cruising and great comport. And the 33 Series II has a 1000 litre fuel tank so it is definitely designed for serious cruising!
All the equipment you need for cruising or for entertaining large groups is here: the galley is sizeable and houses a refridgerator, convection/microwave oven and cooktop, there's a built-in 17 inch LCD TV, DVD player and stereo, and the cockpit is well equipped for al fresco entertaining or serious sports fishing.
Cutting-edge technology, contemporary design principals and the quality, value and reliablility for which Riviera is famous: this is an outstanding vessel and we invite your inspection.
