Calba Boats signs with Boat corp

Boatcorp, of Merritt Island Florida today began to carry the Calba Boats brand of boats as it's first line of new boats and motor packages. Todd Cornwell, owner, indicates the traffic has already been quite busy with a used 2004 Calba Boats 18 Legend that was at the store for a few weeks.


"We are looking forward to carrying both the 16 and 18 foot models soon" remarked Todd. "Ours has always been a small used boat store, and we are happy to be carrying the line".


~First store opens in Florida

Grand Opening of the first ever Gander Mountain store in the state of Florida begins preparations for it's official opening in Lake Mary Florida. The store will be one of the largest yet for the retailer, based in Minnesota.


Dan Engen, store manager, indicates that the new store will have one of the best outfitted retail locations in the area for hiking, camping, fishing, hunting, and boating. "We will be carrying many brands of boats, especially the true flats boat made by Calba Boats."

Calba Boats, built in Trenton Florida, unveiled it's new package and the Gander Mountain Edition logo that will adorn it's boats for the new Florida retailer known as Gander Mountain. "Our commitment to provide a special package that is only available at Gander Mountain is a cost effective package" comments Ron Williams, Production Manager for the Calba Boat models.


Calba Boats is a division of Shallow Water Specialties, Inc. and has been producing two models of flats boats since 1999.
