Aimed at the fast-growing niche of sailors that demand comfortable, sporty, easy-to-handle — yet reasonably priced — daysailers, The Hood 24 is the latest 24-foot sailboat from C. W. Hood Yachts of Marblehead, Mass.
The boat features a Spirit-of-Tradition, modern classic hull sculpted by superyacht regatta-winning Stephens Waring Yacht Design of Belfast, Maine. It carries an enormous cockpit that can comfortably seat eight. Simple hardware and controls make the boat ideal for sailing clubs, families with children and pets.
