Here at KenCraft Boats, we have been working on a new Challenger 25 design for the better part of a year and we would like to announce on the site that the finished product should be available soon after the first of the year. This new model will replace the Challenger 240 which is no longer in production.
We have been working with Vectorworks Marine and Naval Engineering to design what we feel is the perfect marriage of a true offshore fishing platform with a creature comfort family cruising boat that the entire family can enjoy out on the water. This attention to detail makes our boats different from every other builder because we sweat the small things that both a fisherman and a family want to see in today's boats on the water. As with all of our boat lines, you really can have a fishing boat that will satisfy the family as a weekend cruiser.
The Challenger 25 incorporates a sharp deadrise at the transom and the bow for those rides offshore in rough water, yet the family safety is not forgotten with our signature high freeboard at the amidships as well as the stern of the boat. Of course, the traditional Carolina Bow Flair is there like all of our Challenger boats. For additional safety, we will have a wraparound handrail recessed inside the forward fish/storage boxes.
