~Performance
Proper hull balance is the most critical, and the most difficult to attain, design aspect of a boat under 35 feet. It's also what sets the 32 Express apart from the crowd. The CABO team worked closely with award-winning Michael Peters Yacht Design to create a beamy (13'3") sportfisher that performs exceptionally well whether running, trolling, or drifting.
The 32 Express utilizes a weight distribution similar to that of a bigger vessel, carrying as much mass aft as possible, so she tracks better in following seas and rides higher in waves. The payoff is a drier, faster, smoother ride than the competition.
~Fishability
With the 32 Express, good fishing comes in a small package. A bait prep center, circulating bait tank, and large-capacity insulated fish box provide tournament-level precision and convenience in the extra wide cockpit. Along the transom, an outward-opening door supported by beefy custom hinges has a top gate for safe, dependable use. Self-bailing scuppers along with fresh and saltwater washdowns add utility, while cockpit coaming pads and CABO's careful nonskid deck pattern offer stability that the working angler will appreciate in the heat of the fight.
~Design & Construction
CABO boats are repeatedly praised for their superb engineering and mechanical layout - intuitive, ergonomic, meticulous - and the 32 Express is no different. Her power-actuated helm deck rises at the push of a button to reveal a gelcoated maintenance space that is totally accessible, with color-coded and labeled wiring, plumbing, and other systems strategically placed around the twin turbo-charged diesel engines.
The starboard helm of the 32 Express is mounted on a raised deck to eliminate blind spots at all running angles, and there is room for the latest large-screen electronics to be flush-mounted on the dash. The cabin interior combines CABO's unmatched quality with the ability for owners to personalize their living space via custom décor packages. Four people total can sleep in the offset double berth and L-shaped lounge that converts to upper and lower bunks. Standout standards include a galley with full appliances and Corian® countertops, head/shower compartment, 10,000-BTU air conditioning, diesel generator and shore power, stainless-steel hardware and accents, and ample rod storage - everything a discerning sportsman expects from a boat bearing the CABO name and reputation.
