General Description
She is surprisingly spacious, sleeping two in the V-berth up front and four more on four comfortable pullman bunks in the main saloon. This well-kept 1987 Watkins 29 masthead sloop, designed by Walter Scott for Watkins Yachts, is a great option for anyone interested in sailboat cruising. She has a fin keel and a rudder on a skeg, making her a cruiser with a 4' shallow draft. Anyone wanting a monohull sailboat would do well to consider this 1987 Watkins 29, and it will also contribute to the creation of some incredible memories. There were just 60 of these ships ever produced. This model's name was changed to Watkins 30 in 1988, the final year of manufacturing.
Actual Condition
According to reports, this vessel operated in the waters off the southeast coast of Massachusetts up until August 2022. The donor has always been a sailor, but he has come to a point in his life when he can no longer sail. This 29' Watkins appears to be a stout sailboat that requires little care considering her age.
