With the 24 Select you'll be able to attack just about any piece of water in comfort, safety and style. Having the reputation as one of the best whitewater boats ever built Weldcraft's Select has a hull specifically designed for rivers like the Snake and Salmon, two of our favorite places to test our latest designs.
When we designed the Select we didn't use the typical box stringer construction, but instead went with the longitudinal extrusions and cross members that allow this boat to go up and over whitewater. Water over the bow is no longer an issue, nor is having to "bull" through rapids. The bow lifts and the hull climbs to the next roller keeping the boat on plane, and you and your belongings dry. Adding to this boat's versatility you'll be able to run it on your favorite lake, big river or ocean where you get the full benefit of having a boat that performs exceptionally well.
The Select comes in two lengths (22' and 24') and both are built on our ultra-wide 84'' bottoms. That means there's lots of interior room, and in the performance department, it's extremely stable. The hull, constructed with .190 high grade aluminum, comes standard with a 12-degree bottom, however, you can request a 10 or 14 degree hull. Selects are equipped with a GM 6.0 liter fuel injected Vortec V-8 coupled to a Hamilton 212 jet pump. (Optional engine upgrades are available.) Just another reason this is one of the bestselling boats in its class.
