Exciting is the best word to describe the new Ocean Master 27' Hybrid. The 27' is built with the same legendary strength and quality as our larger fishing machines, making it the best value of any boat its size.
● Single or twin outboard
● Single diesel inboard
● Single diesel I/O
The 68 sq. ft. cockpit and 30 sq. ft. casting platform provide more fish fighting space than most 29' boats. And with 450 gallons of storage the 27 can handle the gear of the most dedicated anglers. It has a standard 32 gallon livewell and can be equipped with up to two additional livewells for the serious live bait fisherman. Owners can choose either a traditional transom for fishability or contemporary bracket mounted motors.
Standard fuel capacity is 202 gallons providing true long distance range. The new 27 is powered with single or twin outboard power to 500 hp. Those seeking even longer range can step up to diesel inboards from 270 to 420 horsepower.
The super large console offers ample space for flush mount electronics and privacy for the optional marine head inside.
At Ocean Master, "bullet-proof" means just that. Ocean Master hulls are so overbuilt they will easily stop a large caliber bullet fired at point blank range. This was true of the first hull back in 1975 and is still true of the very latest hull being built.
Every Ocean Master is 100% hand-laid to achieve optimum strength. The 27 is built with 14 layers of Nytex biaxial and stitched 2415 fiberglass. This is well over 150% of the industry standard. We know of no other manufacturer who uses this much fiberglass in their hulls.
In addition, we employ top quality vinylester resins and NPG gelcoats to stand up to years of hard use. Our stringer system is equally impressive. We use massive, full height, all fiberglass stringers. These stringers are completely fiberglassed into the hull making a truly one piece structure. This is much more time consuming and expensive than simply tabbing the stringers into place.
The inner liner deck of each Ocean Master is fully vacuum bagged with vinylester compound to ensure a complete bond between the fiberglass and core material. This produces a deck that is very strong and incredibly stiff. The inner liner deck is then bonded to the sides of the hull and the stringer system using premium vinylester bonding compound. The console is then attached to the deck using state of the art methacrylate adhesive (as opposed to just screwing it down). The end result is a massive, rock-solid hull that is arguably the strongest on the market.
The new Ocean Master 27' Hybrid proudly carrying on in the tradition of the legendary 31 and 34.
