History of Marlago Boats

Reflecting back on more than 20 years since the founding of Jefferson Yachts, it has been our desire to utilize our personal boating experience as a barometer to meet the needs of our customers.

As boaters, both professionally and recreationally, every day we study, test, observe and experience boating with one aim in mind - to make your experience on the water a wonderful time. Given 40% of our owners return to Jefferson Yachts for a second or third purchase, we bel ieve we have achieved that goal.

At our 40,000 square foot plant in Jeffersonville, veteran craftsmen still build each Marlago 35' Cuddy and Marlago 35' Open, one at a time, by hand , as part of a team that takes great pride in their work. Our entire line of motoryachts and sportcruisers meet the stringent certification standards set by the National Marine Manufacturer's Association.

Since 1982, Jefferson Yachts has set industry standards for design engineering, quality, and reliability among discriminating buyers of fine motoryachts. Jefferson Yachts now manufactures five different series of yachts - Marquessa, Rivanna, Pilothouse, Starship and Marlago Boats. And, although styles and purposes vary greatly, each is built to Jefferson's standards of unmatched attention to detail and an unwaivering deducation to luxury.

Outside, the finest appointments of old world craftsmen have been built into the sleekest lines yacht designers can create. Inside, Jefferson's interiors display incredible comfort, framed within a wealth of hand-rubbed teak that relays the overall craftsmanship of the vessel. And the galley is first class, fit for any gourmet who's ready to broil the fresh catch of the day.

~Marlago Boats Warranty

Marlago Boats used commercially for fishing or other charter purposes are warranted only for ninety (90) days from the date of delivery to Owner or for two hundred (200) hours
of operation, whichever occurs first.

Jefferson warrants to the first-use purchaser and any subsequent owner during the warranty period that the hull of each boat will be free from structural defects in materials and workmanship for a period of five (5) years from the date of delivery to the first-use purchaser under normal use and service. This limited warranty applies only to the structural integrity of the hull and the supporting pan/grid or stringer system. Hulls, pan/grids, or stringers modified in any way or powered with engines other than the type and size installed or specified by Jefferson are not covered by this limited warranty. The obligation of Jefferson under this limited warranty is to the repair or replacement of hulls that it determines to be structurally defective. This is your sole and exclusive remedy.

This warranty does not apply to normal wear and tear affecting boats and parts or to any defect arising out of lack of proper care or maintenance as recommended by the ownerÂ’s manual. This warranty does not cover (a) used boats, (b) paints, varnishes, gel coats, or chrome plated, anodized, or aluminum finishes, (c) windshield and window glass breakage or leakage, (d) accessories not manufactured by Jefferson that are installed by the dealer or factory installed equipment that was supplied by the dealer or Owner, (e) racing boats or engines, (f) published or otherwise announced catalog speeds, fuel consumption, or range (because those calculations are obtained under variable conditions), (g) fiberglass blistering attributable, in the opinion of Jefferson, to water penetration of the fiberglass (osmotic blistering)except as outlined in paragraph number.
