Fish Rite Aluminum Boats opened their doors in 1978 in Central Point, Oregan(OR). Jammie Dorsey started to design the boat of his dreams about 30 plus years ago. As time passed and with a name change to his current business name to Fish-Rite, Jammie added more models to his line to cover all the fishing boats options he thought his clientele would be interested in. Jammie's son joined in in the business. Continuing with the same quality as in the beginning, Jammie worked to develop all-welded aluminum process for other models similar to his famed McKenize drift boat. Fish-Rite developed and uses their patented All-Weld Duo-Girder Bottom construction and even off a models that are made to beech when needed.
