~It all began in the Clarkston, Washington, shop of legendary boatbuilder Ernie Duckworth in the late 1960’s as he began building a couple of rugged welded aluminum jet boats for running the demanding whitewater of the nearby Snake River Hells Canyon. His rugged designs soon caught the eye of fellow boaters, and the "Duckworth" brand was soon developing its legendary loyal following.

~Today, Duckworth Boat Works, Inc. ("DBW") manufactures and distributes through independent marine dealers "Duckworth" brand welded aluminum fishing, sport and commercial boats. Duckworth boats include a complete line of 17-24 foot inboard jet, outboard, sterndrive and specialty watercraft for shallow-draft river running and deep-V bluewater use, with a full range of fit and finish options. Over 4,000 Duckworth brand boats have been produced during the last 40 years, providing owners the ultimate in performance, versatility, comfort and appeal. DBW offers repair and refurbishment to restore old and damaged Duckworths to almost new factory condition.

~Our Warranty

Our welded aluminum hulls are warranted in writing against structural defects in material or workmanship for as long as the original purchaser owns the boat. ~Measuring Boat Length

The length is measured from end to end excluding sheer. This is a straight line measurement of the overall length from the foremost part of the boat to the aftermost part of the boat, measured parallel to the centerline. Bow sprits, bumpkins, rudders, outboard motor brackets, and similar fittings or attachments are not include in the measurement. Length shall be stated in feet and inches.

~he Advantage Inboard makes the journey possible. It is the most capable and unstoppable inboard jet in its class. With its wide 14° hull, the Advantage Inboard attacks shallow water with the performance you expect from a Duckworth. And getting on plane, and staying there, is of little consequence. The 18' and 19' Advantage Inboards feature a GM 305 cubic inch, V-8 engine that produces 280 horsepower—a perfect thrust to weight ratio for a boat weighing less than 2500 lbs. The 20' and 21' Advantage Inboards achieve optimum performance with GM's 350 cubic inch V-8. With 310 horses powering the American Turbine SD-309 jet, you get a fast, smooth handling boat that has more capabilities than its competition. The Hydro-Flow hull comes standard, as does the exclusive Hd intake and stainless rock grate—the same system found on our legendary Silverwing models.

space is often a concern with inboard models, particularly in 18' and 19' lengths, but in every length the Advantage Inboard is as comfortable as it is spacious. The interior features and standard equipment are nothing short of exceptional. The seating is signature Duckworth quality, as is the heavy-duty convertible top. The Advantage Inboard is quite comfortable on the ears too; with an in-line exhaust muffler system included as standard. With so much versatility going for it, it can go virtually anywhere. When you're along for the ride, just remember: take only pictures and leave only wake.
