Axis Raptor 400
We understand that whether you are at altitude or just want to completely load the boat down with weight, you may need more horsepower. Keeping with the same styling and simplicity, we have worked with Indmar to bring you the Axis Raptor 400. This engine brings you plenty of power when you need it most. We have dressed the engine with the same flame arrestor and chrome exhaust that the AR335 has. This engine is a great upgrade to all customers that plan to be known for the biggest wake on the lake.
Salt Series
For 2011 we are continuing our complete salt series package with the boat. This is to address the overseas demand as well as the domestic need, as we understand there are plenty of people who require a boat to operate in salt environments. The Salt Series package will include your choice of a salt-ready AR335 CAT or Raptor 400 CAT, the salt resistance powder coating on the tower and seat bases, a flush kit, our brand new Tatami snap-in floor mats, grounding and bonding to sacrificial anodes, a sea strainer, and a BoatMate galvanized trailer. We believe that this package is everything you need to ensure that the boat has a long life in salt areas.
Flip-up Bolster Seat
Wakeboarders aren't always known for our height, so the bolster seat is a nice touch to give us that better angle on finding the waverunners in front of us. Also, if you're a family and are starting to teach Junior the finer things about boating, then you'll want the bolster!
Heater 2-Outlet
Chilly mornings or that evening ride to the local watering hole means friends on the boat with chill bumps. Impress them forever by bringing out the heater! Our 2-outlet heater keeps Numero Uno, the driver, warm as well as gives you an option for other people in the boat with a 6 foot retractable heater hose.
MTX 2X600W Thunder Marine Series Amp
After much testing and review, we believe we've found the best Amp in the market for what we want to do - make people notice us! You will have control of the subwoofer, interior speakers, and the tower speakers with these amps. When the boat is rockin' well, then the boat is rockin'!!
Splashproof Transom Remote
For anyone who has been completely unmotivated by the music choice that the driver has given you for your set, you will want the transom remote. One quick touch of the remote and the music is your own! Also we've found that the transom remote is critical for the always-fun raft-ups and contests as it lets you choose and change your music from the swim platform.
Depth Finder

Sony Splashproof Stereo
The available Sony CDX-H905IP Stereo follows the alternative theme of the Axis with a unique look and a ton of features crammed into a rider-functional head unit. The high-contrast splashproof face of the stereo allows for excellent viewing in direct sun. You can even switch between red or blue illumination to match your boat. A marine CD receiver with a built-in amplifier (17 watts RMS/52 Peak X 4 channels) this deck spins burned CDs populated with MP3, WMV or AAC files as well as a standard music CDs for hours of tunes. The Axis Sony Stereo also offers iPod, iPhone, MP3 or memory stick connectivity through the included usb cable.
Core Prop
Ricky Bobby does not approve this prop! This prop is only for the core wakeboarder who isn't going for pole position with top speed and instead wants tons of low end torque. This also assists customers in high altitude situations who are going after those competition size wakes. The OJ 14.75 X 13 LC XMP CORE 4-blade takes the larger diameter lower pitch concept to the next level. The concept behind the OJ CORE line uses a larger diameter combined with lower overall pitch to provide as much surface area and bite to power the boat. The combination provides exceptional low end performance for the extreme ballast configurations used in the Axis.
New Axis-Only MTX Tower Speakers
We are constantly trying to improve our product while adding function and style to a price point boat. The 2011 tower speakers are a great example of our rider focused, market driven design. The new enclosures are completely water tight and conceal all wires. They also have an integrated clamp design that looks more streamline and adds THREE extra inches of valuable head room!
Swivel Wakeboard Rack
The Axis Swivel Wakeboard Rack allows you to easily swivel the rack into the boat for simple loading and unloading. It's great for switching boards in and out on the water.
Quick-collapse Knobs
If you are going to be lowering your tower often or even a few times each year, then we recommend the quick-collapse knobs. These knobs allow you to lower the tower without having a hex-wrench to loosen the standard bolts.
Auto-set Wedge
Looking for another 1000 pounds of displacement? Add the exclusive Axis Auto Set Wedge and you can bring your wake footprint to nearly 3200 pounds of displacement on top of the Axis Boat's other available ballast. The Auto Set Wedge can be deployed through an access hatch in the standard fiberglass swim step. A simple pinch of the clips and the Auto Set Wedge is ready for wake-making. This reverse hydro-foil floats to the perfect displacement position and turns up the volume on your wake size. No ballast. No filling, No draining, Just wake.
Fixed Wakeboard Rack
Our fixed wakeboard racks, like our towers and tower accessories, are built in-house and designed by those of us that live and breath boating. These racks are coated to protect your precious boards as well as are firmly mounted to the tower so as not to ruin your day with a mishap!
AR335 ETX/CAT [CA Required]
Why the CAT? Well, because it is the way we're heading according to the EPA so let's do it! Our CAT technology allows you to be safer, cleaner, and without loss of power. We're proud of our stance on the environment and think this option makes a lot of sense!
Dual Battery Switch
Two batteries are better than one in the boating world. With two batteries combined with our isolator switch, you can decide to use one battery or both for starting, partying, or just blaring that sound system to the neighbors. Ampacity is Awesome!
Transom Underwater Lighting
Axis Underwater lights are made up of 9 high power, bright white LEDs. These lights will add a little more style to your late night swim or turn heads as you dock up at the marina.
Ski Pylon
Well, we've given in to the swervers. They asked for a ski pylon, we resisted, and then realized that skiers are people too! Just kidding, sort of, but really this ski pylon is functional and allows slalom skiers to get that perfect pull as well as tubers to get their stoke on too! The new optional ski pylon bolts conveniently into the middle cupholder on the sun deck and is simple to install.
Flush Kit
Whether you are in salt or brackish water, or even just think it is a good idea to flush out your engine after use (which, it is) then you will want our flush kit. This kit allows you to have access to the engine for flushing directly on the transom of the boat. It doesn't get more convenient and easy than that!
Pull-up Cleats
No need for a description here - if you like tying up your boat, we think you should get these. End of story!
ChillAX Center Flip Up Seats
Sit up straight. Axis Wake Research is just as concerned with your posture as your mother was. The difference is we want to make sure you are able to relax and enjoy the boat or are in the perfect position to see a rider going-off in tow. Enter optional ChillAX Walk-through seating. The cushions in the walk-through leading to the bow are split and supported with shocks so they can be pulled upright when the situation demands back support. This available feature creates an additional rear-facing observer seat and another front facing seat in the bow. The great thing is when this seating is not in use it masquerades as multi-density, G&T Marine vinyl covered comfort.
Docking Lights
Axis docking lights are made up of 9 high power, bright white LEDs. This illumination is focus at dock-level for those late night returns to the marina.
Deck-Trac
We have developed non-skid pads with various "Axis" labeling in key areas of the boat. In particular, we have non-skid pads available in the bow area for people getting on and off shore from the bow, the gunwale area for accessing the sides of the boat, and on the transom. Also, we have created a large non-skid pad for the swimstep area so that wakeboards do not scratch the gel coat.
Under Seat LED Lighting
The glow of the optional under-seat lighting will reflect the look on your face. You will be beaming when you flip that rocker switch and see the interior of your boat light up in red, blue or white. With the flip of a switch and the addition of this option your Axis goes from wake boat to show piece.
Removable Carpet
When you're out on the water you want the comforts of home, but when you return home you want the clean-up that goes along with a day on the lake to be quick and easy. The removable carpet insert from Axis makes this dream a reality. When you're in the boat it offers the comfort of plush feeling rubber backed marine carpet. When the day is done, simply snap out the carpet and hose off the floor of your Axis. Then snap your carpet back in and you're ready for another outing. It's that easy.
MTX Thunder Marine Series Speakers
Specifically designed for harsh outdoor conditions and constant exposure to moisture the 6.5' Thunder Marine Speakers from MTX are as rugged as they are high performing. The Axis/MTX speaker is rated at 50 watts RMS and 100 watts Peak power. These speakers are designed with a polypropylene cone woofer and rubber surround. The incorporated tweeter is a 1� Teteron. The terminals are gold plated and the hardware stainless steel. It's no wonder this speaker past a 500 hour test for durability and resistance to environment.
MTX 12″ Thunder Marine Series Subwoofer
This sub woofer is engineered to perform at high quality levels and withstand the rigors of marine use. The Thunder Marine Series Subwoofer handles 200 watts RMS and 600 watts peak power. The impedance is single 4 ohms. This speakers is designed with a polypropylene cone woofer, rubber surround, gold plated terminals and stainless steel hardware. This speaker has passed the MTX 500-test and is one of the most durable subwoofers known to man.
Plug N Play Ballast System
We've developed something that some of our competition thought so highly of, they copied the very name! This year, we are continuing to offer the Plug N Play ballast system (PnP) for anyone needing additional factory-installed ballast. Whether you want to wake surf without everyone having to crowd into a small area in the boat, or you just want to rock the docks when taking a wakeboard set, we recommend you consider the PnP system. The PNP has dedicated front fill and drain pumps for the 500 lb front sack under the bow, and has the plumbing installed in the rear so that the tanks and sacks are filled in series (same fill and drain pumps). We will deliver the boat with the hoses, pumps, and fittings ready to receive the Fly High fat sacks. Also, there are other options for rear sacs that fit into the storage area you can pick your poison depending on how big you want the wake!
Vandall Edition Package
Randall "the Vandall" Harris is known for being a great guy with a powerful story about his career in the wake industry. Three notable aspects of his personality include his complete west coast style on and off the water, his now-famous skeleton tattooing, as well as the amplitude that he rides. We've tried to capture this with our new Vandall Edition Axis A22. Not only does this boat have a unique graphic scheme but it comes complete with every option that Randall himself chooses to have on his boats. Z5 Cargo Bimini
Who hates a bimini that doesn't do it's job? We do, that's for sure. With the Axis bimini, you will have plenty of head room due to the speaker design while still creating plenty of shade and rain protection. Just remember, when the rain comes, the water is smooth soon after!
Custom Cover
A Mooring Cover is often overlooked in the boat design process - Axis says "ridiculous"! For those that care about their boat and are putting the cover on numerous times a week, the cover is critical. It means a lot to maintaining the boats value as well as helps secure all your goodies inside. Therefore, just like the rest of the boat, we have put as much thought and engineering as possible into the cover and believe you will be pleased.

Tatami
We are offering a second option to the snap-in carpet. This new material gives the look and feel of a Japanese Tatami mat. It is 100% synthetic material and does not retain heat or absorb stains. We are offering it one color only, which is a light grey.
Tricked Out Trailer
Anyone who thinks the fun begins on the water has apparently not owned a trailer that turns heads on the way to the water! Our tricked out trailer is full of goodies and will make you, your vehicle, and even the boat look that much better! Tricked out trailers include all of the standard features as well as a host of other features like stainless steel tread plates, and the totally rad, Axis-first, runway lights which are activated by a float switch as you back into the water and light up your path as you back the trailer into the water. It also includes the Axis-only Gear Alloy blacked-out 18" mag wheels. You will have two rear trailering ratchets for added security as well as a choice of two toned paint. The paint scheme can be changed between the main frame and the fender and you can always choose a stainless fender! This trailer is trick..trust us!
