The cockpit, well protected with the large rigid hardtop, invites to relax. From the cockpit, you will have access to the flybridge; it offers a nice space with a small kitchenette, 8 persons dining area and the steering station with a bench for 3. Powered by 2x180 HP engines as standard, the EUPHORIE 5 will offer a comfortable 12 knots cruising speed with attractive fuel consumption.
The word of the architect… Euphorie 5 is a power catamaran dedicated to long distance cruises where comfort and range have been the priority. The boat has optimized hulls shapes allowing a cruising speed between 12 and 15 knots with an efficient ratio surface under water versus displacement.
The immersed shape, calculated under CFD (Computational Fluid Dynamics), has been designed for a limited pitch angle and minimum drag. Likewise, the propulsion has been optimized for a better efficiency to the concerned speeds : the longitudinal position in relation to the integrated Flap
and the shaft angle are studied to speed up the flow and the propeller power. The topsides give an excellent seakeeping with her lateral raised sections which limit strongly the
pitching motions, while increasing the immerged volume during the passage in waves. Deck and interior offer a well balanced ergonomic space : flying bridge, cockpit and outstanding master cabin for offering the best life on board.
