Building on the outstanding success of the centerboard versions, the RS Venture Keel takes the stability, safety and seaworthiness of this boat to a new level with a purpose designed deck and a vertical lifting keel.
The RS Venture Keel is stable and self righting – perfect for training in exposed environments and for cruising in comfort and safety. The keel lifts easily so the boat can be easily launched and transported ashore, or kept afloat on a mooring. Weekend trips to explore fantastic new venues are seriously tempting – and attainable.
The huge cockpit can seat up to eight people and is fully self-draining, so spray or rain water quickly run out leaving the boat dry and comfortable. Wide side decks and secure inner seats give a range of options ideal for both nervous beginners and experienced sailors.
Features and options such as a large aft locker (big enough for an outboard motor and camping gear), furling jib and slab reefing mainsail, spinnaker gear and a full range of Sailability options make the RS Venture Keel both outstandingly practical as well as great fun in all normal conditions.
