The 60' SSY has a top speed of 60MPH with its base power package, yet it requires only half the horsepower of the typical boat in this class. These performance characteristics are attributed to the first in class twin stepped hull; extremely light weight, yet strong build materials and techniques. This ability to reach higher speeds with less power allows the vessel to obtain cruise speeds with only half the fuel use compared to other boats in its class.
