Free board questions are a thing of the past. With about 20" of draft, our Catamarans still gives about 6' of freeboard at the bow of the boat. Strength to put her on the beach and letting the tide go out is not an issue. Outboard motor technology increases efficiency and lessens maintenance making for a great design.
