The only way to top the largest and most luxurious model in the Eastbay fleet is, of course, with an equally spacious and gracious flybridge. Our new 55FB is available in two or three-stateroom layouts, each with a large flybridge deck that features a Stidd helm seat (with room for two additional optional chairs) and a large L-settee surrounding a handmade teak table. Access is made safely and gracefully via an elegant curved staircase from the cockpit below, which also offers plenty of room for outdoor entertainment and relaxation.

LARGE SALON LAYOUT
Standard deckplan of very spacious 55FB features a U-settee to port surrounding a teak high-low table. A second, smaller settee sits just forward on a raised platform that provides outstanding visibility. A standard Stidd helm seat sits to starboard; abaft of this is a long cabinet with storage, minibar, and an entertainment center with pop-up TV.

SPACIOUS COCKPIT
A main highlight of the 55FB is the enormous cockpit. Choose optional built-in seating along the transom, or take the standard arrangement without seating and furnish it yourself. Three large gas-assist hatches offer convenient access to an expansive lazarette.

Today's Grand Banks are designed to provide higher speeds when needed, while also delivering fuel economy - and comfortable cruising over long distances - when moving at a slower pace. Our use of electronically controlled diesel engines gives you greater performance and flexibility than ever before, while dramatically reducing smoke, odor and engine idle noise.


A GOURMET GALLEY
The long, large galley in the 55FB features granite countertops, a large sink, drawer-style refrigeration units, a built-in microwave-convection oven, and plenty of storage. A large freezer sits in a closet forward along the companionway, and extra storage for longer trips is easily accessed through the sole.


LUXURIOUS MASTER STATEROOM
With hand-crafted teak cabinetry throughout, the master cabin is a warm and inviting place to retire, with plenty of easily-accessible storage -- including a cedar-lined hanging locker. An en-suite head with stand-up shower is equally well appointed.


EXPANSIVE FLYBRIDGE WITH HARDTOP
With wide-open spaces and commanding views, the flybridge features a large L-settee surrounding a handmade teak table, and a single Stidd on the centerline.
