When it comes to big water fishing, cruising and camping, the Wooldridge SS Pilothouse is the boat of choice. The beamy Deep "V" offshore hull is engineered for optimum strength with minimum weight. That makes it lighter for towing and enhances on-the-water performance with modest outboard power. (see performance tests below) The SS Pilothouse is available in lengths of 23'3", 26'3" and 29' and designed for single or dual outboard power. High sides and an all welded pilothouse cabin with reverse angle three-panel windshield and speckle paint are standard features. Standard as well are the bulkhead and cuddy, the 100 gallon fuel tank, beefy Offshore bracket with huge transom fish box and porta potti in the cuddy , forward walk-around, bow rails, locking rod locker doors and hydraulic steering are standard features. The most popular option is the full pilothouse cabin package which includes the 3' wide dinette with flip-flop backrest which makes into bed, large cabinet with built in electric fridge, kerosene or diesel heater/stove, freshwater sink with electric pump. Also available: radar and full electronics, side door , full cuddy upholstery and private stand-up head. Wooldridge engineered the SS Pilothouse with extensive structure to provide optimum strength with minimum weight, for easy towing and superb performance and fuel economy with modest power.
