The vessel was reported built schooner style for the Alaska crab fishery, with a scow underbody, house aft and raised foredeck. The hull has a bluff raked bow, straight sides, V-bottom, hard chines and broad transom stern. The foredeck is raised six feet above the main deck, and is 20-feet long and 22-feet wide aft. There is a heavy anchor and a bow roller over the stem head with chain and cable leading aft 14-feet to a hydraulic drum windlass. Forward of the windlass, 12-feet back from the stem, are 27-inch high raised cutwater bulwarks athwart ships and along the port side. There is an A-frame mast over the aft end of the foredeck with a boom mounted to a foundation on the aft centerline of the foredeck, angled and stiff legged above the starboard rail over the main deck. The main deck is 44' long and 24' wide. Propulsion is by two 325hp Detroit diesel engines. Sleeps six, two heads with showers.
