“EBB TIDE” has always been a fresh water boat. She has been restored over the last 3 years bringing her back to near new condition and in some areas, better than new. Her engines are original and are in excellent condition as is her generator. The restoration involved: Interpretect 2000E on her hull, replacing engine coolant hoses, rebuilding heat exchangers, engines were evaluated by diesel mechanic and any item of even slight concern was replaced, repairing fiberglass blemishes and epoxy paint, repairing and painting of cockpit boarding including new hardware and custom made aluminum corners, her Naiad stabilizer actuators were removed and sent to Naiad for rebuilding and new, heavier duty actuator frames were installed, interior teak woodwork refinished with original Hatteras finish, a custom teak sole was installed except rear stateroom which has new carpeting, new custom made mattresses, bedding, drapes, original furniture and dinette seats recovered, rebuilt Princess electric stove, new rudder bearings, new china vaccuflush heads and PVC waste drains, new SS, 11 gallon hot water tank, new batteries, new battery charger, new fresh water pump and water filter, 26’Samsung high definition flat screen TV with sound system, new Fiamm horns, winterization manifold, new Garmin color GPS and Standard Horizon radio and the list goes on. . . No expense was spared. There are a few things to do yet in the fly bridge which is scheduled to be done in the spring but there is not much if anything else to be done. “Ebb Tide” is immaculate throughout and with her spacious interior is great for cruising or living aboard. She captures attention at her dock and wherever she goes and should provide her new owner with years of cruising fun without needing updating or repairs.
