The Cal 28 represents a very well thought out design, and this boat in particular has received above average care with all repairs and upgrades completed as necessary.
Westerbeke 13 hp D with approx 600 hours, and a VERY generous 10’8” beam for a 28’ boat. Also features full standing headroom throughout, gimbaled propane stove/oven, hot water heater, pressure (hot) water in head AND cockpit, autohelm autopilot, 12V DC fridge, new teak and holly sole and new keel bolts. Binnacle mounted cockpit table.
Many upgrades have been added to the boat since new, including; replaced two deck hatches with new Lewmar units w/ shade screen cartridges, replaced seacocks, thruhull hoses and fuel lines. Edson steering cables replaced, rigging survey completed and continuous line to furler replaced. Fuel tank was pressure tested and found to be sound.
