FIRST IMPRESSION – WOW! This is truly a turn-key boat, having been completely updated with a warm neutral décor. Great for getting away by yourselves or having friends and family join you for a day on the water. The ice-cold air conditioning and proper comfortable beds for sleeping make this boat a great weekend getaway! We loved the interior space, height and windows. she has all the features of a larger heavier boat on a smaller more economical footprint which ultimately translates into better fuel economy, reduced slip and dock charges and winter storage. The ease of handling is a definite plus.
EXCEPTIONALLY WELL MAINTAINED, YOU CAN BUY WITH CONFIDENCE.
Accommodations
For a long time, Carver has enjoyed a reputation for offering roomy interiors – a reputation that was certainly not diminished by the 28 Aft Cabin. The nearly 12 foot beam and the aft cabin arrangement of this model allow for vary spacious accommodations. Perhaps most remarkable is that they have accomplished this without creating a cramped feel.
Aft Cabin: Double bed to port w/drawers below and cupboards above
Single bed to starboard, with hanging locker
Custom comforters (NEW SPRING 2009)
Both Headboards and foam mattresses recovered Spring 2009
Vanity w/sink & storage (both above and below)
Opening windows w/screens, complete with privacy/sunscreen and teak colored faux wood blinds (NEW 2009 & 2010)
Privacy teak folding door
This arrangement provides a more than comfortable sleeping area.
The main salon, which is entered by a sliding door from the aft deck, is completely surrounded by windows and the sight line uninterrupted all the way forward to the anchor locker bulkhead. Cozy with a 360° view to the outdoors.
Salon: ALL windows covered with white privacy and sunscreen material, allowing you to see outside to enjoy the view, while blocking others from looking in
Windows covered with combination of teak colored faux wood blinds and curtains – NEW 2009/2010
Forward from the main salon and down three steps is a well-equipped galley to port, a head and shower to starboard and further forward an elliptically-shaped dinette where a V-berth would be expected. The dinette converts to a double berth and a privacy curtain separates the area when needed.
