WHERE TRADITION MEETS THE FUTURE
The Thunderbird Mark I is a traditionally handcrafted built wooden boat, except under the mahogany floorboards.
Under the waterline the Mark I has a modern fiberglass hull to achieve sea-going qualities and a safe and easy maintained hull.
Above the waterline the boat has a traditional Scandinavian clinker built mahogany hull with full wooden ribs.
Thanks to the new revolutionary hull innovation and patented Polyeurethane based coating, the maintenance is fully comparable with an all plastic boat. The Thunderbird is the answer to all boating individuals innermost dream, a maintenance free wooden boat.
DESIGNED FOR SOCIAL LIFE
Open spaces and easy to move around was the key when Thunderbirds interior was designed. Minimalistic and functional, it’s suitable for long term overnight stays or daytrips with your best friend or partner.
Parents can feel safe when bringing children and elderly can easily move around. The flexible interior solutions make the Mark I suitable for all occasions and individuals.
The use of classic interior design concepts in a modern implementation makes the Mark I exceptional.
MODERN COMFORT
Even though the Mark I is retro inspired the comfort is modern and storage space substantial. Cabinets, drawers, closet and other compartments are essential for a comfortable boat trip. As well as a closed lavatory space.
The deckhouse can be used for both sitting and sleeping thanks to the middle section that makes it possible to get one large bed. All standard parts like the front-opened drawer refrigerator, the double burner alcohol stove with electric ignition, WC with septic tank etc has carefully been chosen for best function and quality as well as ergonomics.
