This boat has been fully restored by the original manufacturers at R.A.M Sarnico, Italy.
Boat was restored in 2009 but not used since except to run the engine (say 1-2 hours use where it is taken out of dry storage and run on a lake ).
Engine is a Mercruiser.

The reason it is blue in the photos is that the Riva guys sprayed it to match the original engine colors.

The restoration, a work of art, included new bottom panels, new internal mainframes and structures, new plywood panels of the front and rear deck, new transom panels, complete re-varnishing, complete new upholstery (original colors ivory/green) marine rechroming of all accessories and equipment, restoration of gauges and electrical equipment, complete overhauling of the engine and gearbox. The engine is a General Motors New Engine Block and marine station by Riva Shipyard.

Why you bought this boat? The boat was purchased in the late sixties by my father and gas been in the family since.
What you love about the boat? It is a classic Riva boat and I grew up looking after it. We used it on Lough Corrib (Ireland) and it was moored at Ashford Castle where many people of note have stayed and indeed some have had the pleasure of taking a trip in the boat (e.g. Ted Kennedy during a visit to Ashford in the early seventies). I enjoyed having people admire the boat and if there was time I would bring them out for a tour of the lake. Of course the unmistakable sound of the engine and the wash behind the boat was fantastic to ski behind.
Your best times on the boat? Learning to waterski and using the boat whenever I had time. As a kid you needed a license for a car but not a motorboat so I was able to use it to get where I needed to around the Lake.
What would buyers love about the boat? It has been fully restored (as new) and it comes from careful owner who would rather not part with the boat.
Why are you selling? Having restored the boat it is based in Italy and we do not really use the boat now (less that 1 hour in the past 3 years). We are also moving away from the country side where regular marina access is unavailable.
