The Alaskan II is a perfect niche boat for those who want something between the smaller 17âAlaskan and the larger Alaskan XL. It boasts the incredible handling traits of its smaller 17â sibling, yet has a wider, longer hull for hauling bigger loads.
Wooldridge combines extensive internal structure with the exclusive Wooldridge jet tunnel to offer a package that delivers great performance with optimum fuel efficiency with outboard jet (and prop) power.
The formed rib bottom, with four formed corrugations, two on each side, adds strength without unnecessary weight. This, combined with the exclusive Wooldridge jet tunnel, allows the AK II its sharp, aggressive cornering capability.
The tunnel acts as a skeg, enhancing traction in turns. It also lifts the jet foot up to protect it from impact and provides cleaner water flow to the pump.
The Wooldridge hull is built to last and it comes with a lifetime limited warranty for the original owner.
You can select models of 20'6" or 23'6", each with the unique Wooldridge jet tunnel, of course. A 45 gallon fuel tank extends cruising range and time afield.
The Alaskan II is available as a windshield model, with a large two-piece walk-thru windshield for easy access for folks and their gear. This windshield design also allows for better visibility for the driver and passenger, sitting and standing. And, of course, thereâs a recessed, self-draining bow.
An aft-helm windshield version is also available with a three-piece windshield with a walk-thru door. Thereâs a removable hardtop available on the windshield models with forward canvas enclosure for more headroom and greater weather protection. Open designs, include tiller and console boats.
The full width self-bailing transom shelf comes standard on all configurations. Thereâs plenty of room for stowing rods and gear in the full length welded side trays with marine carpet. The toe kick makes it comfortable for bracing and leaning on the side of the boat while fishing.
The AK II is a niche boat, the preferred boat for many sportsmen who recognize its long-term position in the Wooldridge lineup.
