2003 Mainship Mainship 390 TRAWLER BHB382 Destin

The owner of this boat has taking very good care of it. The boat has a 2007 370 hp Yanmar diesel with only 123 hours on it and still has warranty until 1/2012. The reason for the new engine was do to a bad exhaust muffler which has been changed as well. The Mainship 390 is a stylish and moderately priced sedan-style trawler with classic lines and a good turn of speed. Unlike a true trawler with a full displacement hull, the 390 is built on a faster semi-displacement hull with flat aftersections, a long keel and a skeg-mounted rudder which protects the running gear in the event of grounding. The Mainship 390 is a big boat inside thanks to her wide 14-foot beam and the floorplan manages to include double berths in both staterooms as well as a separate stall shower in the head. Visibility from the lower helm is excellent, and a deck door provides easy access to the foredeck. Aft, sliding glass door opens to the covered cockpit where a series of molded steps (instead of a ladder) ascends to the extended flybridge.
