1988 Luhrs Alura sport fisher 27"

The Alura 27 is a very nice smaller fishing boat built by Luhrs in the late '80's. This 27 has had some very recent refurbishment and quite a lot done to the bottom and the mechanical. It is an excellent day boat for a family or a nice overnighter. Receipts for the recent work are available upon survey.

The boat is an open layout with a large cockpit. A center door and two steps down put you into the cabin. To starboard is a standup head and to port is a galley. You step forward to a large v-berth that can convert into bunks to accommodate four.

The galley has a single tub stainless sink as well as a stove. A large icebox is accessed from the galley or the cockpit. A new inverter is placed conveniently to run 110v.

The electronics are simple and very functional. The compass has been replaced recently. The fishfinder and VHF radio are newer and well placed.


The engine and transmission have had recent service and are in clean condition as is the rebuilt hydraulic stern thruster. The shaft and rudder were examined and repacked in 01/07. The strut, cutlass bearing and prop are brand new as is the bottom paint. Trim tabs were also redone as well as all swim step mounts.
This baby is totally new below the water line.



The simple layout of this Alura allows full walk around access with little effort and the open cockpit lends itself to entertaining as well as fishing. Anchoring is easy with the power winch.
The bow pulpit is custom hinged to make smaller slips easy to acquire.
Should you require a smaller LOA the boat measures shorter by nearly 2 ft.
