The new Legend 37 was an improvement over the old model. She was built with a 12'10" beam (12' wider), much lighter, offering the option of wing/fin keel, and featured a new fractional rigged mast. However, it is the interior arrangement that set this new design off, particularly the aft stateroom. The New Legend 37 has incorporated a large island double berth with private access to the head. The Legend 37 remained in production for 4 years when she was replaced in 1991 by the Legend 37.5.AccommodationsFrom the centerline companionway, you enter a spacious salon with seating port and starboard and center line dinette table with drop down leafs. V-berth forward with vanity/sink and hanging locker. The starboard midship settee is split with 2 seats and an entertainment center between them. Starboard of companionway is the nav station with swivel out chair. Aft of Nav is a full head, which also lends second access to aft Master stateroom. Full head with separate shower area, head with Y valve Adjacent, to port is an L shape galley with access to Master stateroom.
