This is your opportunity to own a recently updated Bertram
This 31' Bertram is located in Rhode Island. Owner is moving up and looking to sell.
A recently painted flybridge and cockpit has this Bertram 31 Flybridge Cruiser ready for cruising or fishing today. The interior is in nice, clean shape. This is a 1974 classic that has had quite a bit of cosmetic work done in the past 2 years.
New ultra soft leather interior cushions, brand new Garmin 740s GPS, Bottom painted this year. New carpet. New aft deck, Gas tank replaced with 230 gal aluminum tank. New Black bra . New captains chair. functional heads. New Bimini top. Lines, life jackets, flares, medical kits etc etc all go with the boat. This is an exceptionally clean boat for the year. This is a great strong seaworthy fishing boat. Went to Oak bluffs in Martha's Vineyard several times this year and boat ran like a clock. Boat is in the water in Bristol and ready to go.
Arguably the most famous modern boat design ever built, the 31 Bertram has achieved a near cult status. Designed by Ray Hunt and built by Richard Bertram, the 31 was in production for 25 years.
The 31 FBC has a large fishing cockpit and comfortable cabin accommodations with berths for four.
Perhaps the best features of the 31 are it's low center of gravity, large cockpit, deep-v hull, and hard chine, all of which make this boat one of the best fishing platforms on the water today. It is obvious that the 31 is designed essentially as a fishing boat and creature comforts were considered as secondary considerations. The 31 also makes an excellent dive boat.
Estimates are that, under 2,000 Bertram 31's were manufactured, and that somewhere in the vicinity of 90% of them are still in use.
This is your chance to own one of them.
She has twin 454 Crusaders, and as with all Bertrams is as solid as the day she was built.
Come take a look.
